Likely regular Adaptive Fast charging at 1.67 amps is better than a standard 2 Amp charger. The super fast charger will be using closer to 3 amps, which does mean more heat on the battery. Unless the battery's charging unit splits the voltage to 2 "halfs" that make up 1 battery to reduce the load; Many newer phones have ways to reduce the heat
